Norman Ng - Chairman & Founder

The founding director of Oriens Capital, Norman Ng is a structural engineer by training and has years of professional engineering and project management experience in the design of commercial, residential, institutional, and entertainment related projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Norman previously worked for Arup, a renowned global engineering consultancy, and CBRE, a real estate management company. He was also a consultant to JP Morgan Hong Kong's Global Real Estate team, where he managed and implemented resource optimisation strategies for their 4000 staffs across multiple business locations in Hong Kong.

Moreover, Norman is currently undertaking development project in China, Hong Kong, Canada and New Zealand. He is responsible of the acquisition strategy, financing and the development plan of the projects.



Andy Tse - CEO & Founder

Founding Director Andy Tse has over 20 years of retail and private banking experience at reputable financial institutions including HSBC, Citibank, ING, and the Bank of Singapore. He was Director of Asset Management at Sino Wealth Asset Management Limited and Head of Securities at Nuada (SFC Type 6 Corporate Finance Company) where he was in charge of setting up a securities trading and execution platform (SFC Type 1 licensed activity).

As the sole Team Leader of Cash Equities and Structured Products at the Bank of Singapore International Private Bank (formerly known as ING Private Banking), Andy Tse personally managed a US$3 billion portfolio. He was also Team Leader of the Equities and Bond Wealth Management Department at Citibank (HK) and has gained extensive experience as a Futures & Options floor trader at HSBC. He is currently CEO and Founder of Oriens Asset Management Limited (SFC Type 9 licensed activity).



Alex Chu - Fund Manager

Alex is now the current fund manager at Oriens Asset Management Limited. In addition to the founder of Haofeng Investment Education, he is also the former president of the business department of Sincere Securities Limited, as well as the financial show host and stock columnist of Xincheng Financial Channel, and the first online course instructor and Imoney columnist.

Alex joined a hedge fund in 2004 and was responsible for securities analysis. In 2006, he was appointed as the chief analyst of the investment bank. The leadership team snowballed the fund’s assets from 400 million HKD to 2.7 billion HKD within three years, and just before the financial tsunami in 2008, he retreated. he later founded Haofeng Investment Education, teaching Hong Kong stocks, options and US stocks, becoming one of the largest investment colleges in Hong Kong. It has also won the Corphub Outstanding Enterprise Award for two consecutive years (2019 and 20 years) and the Honorary Fellow of the Social Enterprise Research Institute in 2019.
